Ysgol Deganwy is set overlooking the Conwy Estuary. On the far bank of the estuary is the historic town of Conwy. Our catchment area covers the village of Deganwy to the North/West, turns inland and includes the parish of Llanrhos, where we follow the path of Albert Drive to the South/East. A detailed map in PDF format can be downloaded here Catchment Area. The map will open in a separate Tab/Window.
Our Locality
A few miles to the north is the seaside town of Llandudno often described as the Queen of Welsh Resorts, with its Victorian promenade, links to Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll, and the Great Orme headland with its famous cable car and tramway to the summit. To the west lies the city of Bangor, the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn) and the Llyn Peninsula. The magnificent Snowdonia National Park is on our doorstep with Yr Wyddfa, the highest mountain in Wales, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
