Complaints

Ysgol Deganwy is committed to addressing complaints efficiently. We have established a complaints procedure that reflects our dedication to ensuring that anyone associated with the school can voice a concern, confident it will be considered and resolved promptly and appropriately. This procedure is detailed in Ysgol Deganwy’s Complaint Policy, available in both Welsh and English at the school. Should it be necessary, the Authority is prepared to provide the policy in languages other than Welsh and English.

It is important to note, however, that many issues can be resolved swiftly and effectively through informal discussions with the Headteacher. This approach is recommended as the initial step, with the expectation by the Governing Body that such a step would have been undertaken before escalating the complaint formally, except in exceptional cases.
